Babu Baga Busy Movie Review – 2.5/5

Director: Naveen Medaram

Producer: Abhishek Nama

Music: Sunil Kashyap

Cast: Srinivas Avasarala, Tejaswi Madivada, Sreemukhi, Mishti Chakraborty

Introduction:

After directing a couple of films, Srinivas Avasarala played the lead role in adult comedy which was a remake of Hindi film Hunterr. For the first time, making such kind of film here and let’s check whether it will work out or not.

Story:

Madhav (Srinivasa Avasarala) is a sex addict. After having a number of affairs, he likes to get settled in life with Radha (Misthi). But his past life keeps coming into present life and becomes more troublesome to handle. How Madhav clears all his issues and marries Radha is the rest of story.

Performances:

Srinivasa Avasarala played a typical character. Although it does not suit him, he tried his best to do justice. Sreemukhi is fine in her restrained role. Mishthi is okay and Supriya, who played as a married woman is good enough to grab the attention of audiences.

Analysis:

Hindi version is a hit because; you can come up with erotic content. When it comes to Telugu version, it is not possible and many scenes misfired to strike a chord with audiences. There are many subplots in this movie which are not up to the mark and tedious too.

Telugu audiences cannot take Srinivasa Avasarala playing as a sex addict. Scenes and tempo could not establish properly. The presentation is so bad and audiences feel boring. Tejaswini looks good and these sorts of roles might not help her career. The climax is not so convincing.

Technical aspects:

Naveen has chosen a wrong choice to remake a film in Telugu so it could not do justice. Music is mediocre and songs are not so impressive. The screenplay is misfired at many places although it is a remake version. Production values are okay.

Final Say:

Just ignore Babu Baga Busy
