NTR’s Jai Lava Kusa which was directed by Bobby is one of the most awaited films. Since trailer and posters have reached the expectations of the fans, they are eagerly awaiting the release. Finally, it has hit the screens today. Let’s us see what is in store for us.

Jai, Lava, and Kusa are brothers. The three brothers like stage performances and start dramas. Jai has a stammering problem so his problem makes him backstage. Three brothers get separated. Days passed by, Jai becomes a don while Lava is a Bank employee and Kusa is a thief. How Ravana enters into lives of Lava and Kusa. What happens next should be watched on the big screen.

Jai- his performance will leave a surprise. His role is remarkable in his career. Since it is negative role, Jai makes you remember a long a time.

Lava is cool and simple. As a bank employee, he has done a decent job and especially at emotional scenes, his performance is good enough to steal the show.

Kusa’s role is filled with fun and offered a few laughs. His histrionics and natural comedy tinge in him is the best part of the film.

Raashi Khanna and Nivetha Thomas got less presence but they did well and added flavor to the movie. Sai Kumar’s role is neat and simple.

NTR’s performance in this movie is his career best. Writers Kona Venkat, Bobby, and Chakravarthy should be appreciated for their work. The first half is complete with Lava and Kusa. Jai’s character enters just before the interval. In fact, audiences love to watch Jai’s role. The climax is the best part and director shot every scene with care. Although this film looks entertainer with comedy episodes, the emotional content is more interesting. Even the script has more scope; somehow, it was not utilized and missed out the mass-friendly moments to reach audiences.

Jai Lava Kusa’s script is good but writers of the film could not do justice as it has a solid scope to write the engaging screenplay. Bobby is okay but this sort of script does need some mass elements which lacked in this film. Devi Sri Prasad did an okay job. The cinematography is neat. The editor should have done a better job. Production values are fine.

Final Say:

Jai Lava Kusa is a good entertainer which has all elements to enjoy this weekend
