Actor Sharwanand has been enjoying his film career by delivering decent hits one after another. Now, Mahanubhavudu film directed by Maruthi has hit the screens today. Let’s see whether he would continue his success stint or not.

Anand (Sharwanand) works as a project manager in IT company and he has unusual problem of OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder). One fine day, Meghana (Mehreen) joins his project and he falls in love with her as she keeps maintain tidiness. When her father gets stoke, he denies taking him to the hospital due to his OCD nature.

After this incident, she does not like to continue relation with him but her father likes Anand. Her father invites him to his village and rest of the story is how he wins her love again should be watched on the big screen.

Sharwanand did a decent job as a person who obsessed with OCD. Although there is no space for him to showcase his acting skills, he has delivered impressive performance. Mehreen is not apt for the role and she could not deal the character as expected. Bhadram and Vennela Kishore are good. Nasser as a heroine’s father did well and others are okay.

Maruthi’s Bhale Bhale Magadivoy is very good film and audiences connected to it easily. So, he has come up with a similar line with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) now. In Bhale Bhale Magadivoy, a comedy created out of the memory loss has worked out well. Now, a comedy that has written for OCD is also very nice and audiences like it.

It is a simple story of the guy who is a neatness freak, loves a girl. Once the location is changed to a village, where you would hardly find hygiene among of the people have been shot well. The conflict is very simple and nice. One can guess the story but, it is hilarious and neat.

Taking bath, washing clothes at the lakeside in the village are shaped out well. It might not be new for audiences but they don’t feel boredom at any stage and enjoy the movie till end card. On the whole, Mahanubhavudu is a decent romantic entertainer.

Thaman’s music is the major asset for the film. Dialogues offer laughs for audiences. Cameraman Nizar Shafi work should be admired for showcasing all scenes in a posh manner. Maruthi’s directorial skills are good enough to deliver a hit with Mahanubhavudu. Director is able to blend the comedy in the script to draw the attention of audiences. Production values by UV Creations are adequate.

Final say:

Mahanubhavudu is an enjoyable ride.
