After delivering a blockbuster hit in the form of Nenu Local, Nani worked for romantic drama Ninnu Kori and Nivetha Thomas played the female lead in this film. songs and teaser of the movie increased the expectations. Let’s us see will he continue his successful stint with this film or not.
Pallavi (Nivetha) and Arun (Aadhi Pinishetty) are leading happy marital life and celebrating their first love. On the same day, she meets her past lover Uma Maheshwar (Nani) then, story moves to flash back of love story with Nani in while staying in Vizag.
When Pallavi and Uma are in love and want to get married, her father opposes. So, she asks Nani to take her and marry. Nani does not accept it as he wants to get settled in life and moves to Delhi for his career. Meanwhile, she gets married to Arjun.
Back to the story, Nani is not able to forget her and addicts to alcohol. To change his lifestyle, she invites him to stay in her home and watch the happy life of Pallavi and Arjun.
Here, the story has many turns and twists.
Nani is terrific once again and his character is very natural yet matured. Nivetha’s performance is brilliant as her role has crispy touch between lover and husband. Aadhi’s character has been designed well as it has emotional and he has a great job. Prudhvi’s comedy part is good enough to offer a few laughs.
Although Ninnu Kori seems to be films like Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam and Kanya Danam, the treatment is completely different. Audiences feel that it is a bit risky concept as the story revolves around three lives – wife, husband, and lover. Telugu audiences don’t accept such stories. But, it is different narration and good to watch on the big screen.
You feel bit tense when Nani moves to Nivetha’s home. The moment her father comes to Nivetha’s home, the emotional content is really interesting and emotional too.
When director started thinking in the point of view Aadhi’s, the sequences are shot well and matured manner. Although he is a new director, his approach is superb and appreciable. Kona Venkat’s dialogues added flavor to the movie. The only drawback of the film is that songs which are not placed well.
The cinematography is neat. He captured every shot beautifully. Especially, USA episodes were really impressive. Shiva Nirvana’s directorial skills should be appreciated. Dialogues are commendable and production values are rich. Gopi Sundar’s music is fine and his background score is the main strength of the film.
Ninnu Kore is a decent romantic drama and watchable
