Since Raju Gari Gadhi 2 shooting has been started, it has been hitting headlines for its cast and content. Finally, the movie got released today and let’s check it whether it can live up to the expectations of audiences.
Three friends stay in a house which is set in a resort. While staying there, three friends have to face weird things through an evil spirit (Samantha). When they are in a baffling situation, they approach a mentalist named Rudra ( Nagarjuna). Who is the evil spirit and what is the story behind the evil will be revealed by Rudra, should be watched on the big screen.
Samantha is superlative and especially, her superb emotional expressions in the climax are outstanding. Nagarjuna is apt for the role and his presence has added more flavor to the movie. His confrontation with Sam is interesting and executed well. Vennela Kishore tried his best to offer a few laughs.
Omkar has chosen a good script as a sequel to his sleeper hit flick Raju Gari Gadhi. His approach to horror creation is admirable but he should have added comedy even to make it more effective on the silver screen. Since Raju Gari Gadhi 2 has a good script and star cast, but he would have added comedy episodes to reach the expectations of audiences.
The first half has nothing to entertain audiences which is the main drawback for this movie. Of course, the story is more predictable for audiences. Since audiences have seen such stories many times, they feel tedious. Omkar did not utilize the time to work out the horror or comedy to amuse film buffs. But, he has showcased the role of Nagarjuna and Samantha in well mannered and those scenes are a major asset for the film.
Dialogues are realistic and Thaman’s music is perfect. The cameraman has cranked the camera beautifully and he captured the resort very well. He showcased horror effect on the screen superbly. Production values are adequate. VFX is decent.
Raju Gari Gadhi 2 is predictable yet interesting
